What Are The Odds?

Sometimes the constant cycle of partying and bottomless brunching can be a lot and The Babes just need a break. That’s why The Babes and 25 close friends (were all close friends with someone here right?) like to high tail it to the high country for a little R&R every once in a while. Cue the giant mountain house.

Now that’s what we’re talking about! The best thing about these trips is that you arrive at night so when you wake up you are introduced to a whole new world (although ironically Aladdin couldn’t make it this time).

After a long night of relaxing (partying) and hot tubbing (partying) we awoke feeling nice and refreshed (hungover) and ready to brunch.

The Babes always want to be gracious guests so what else are we going to do but make the crew brunch. Mimosas and all…because when you can’t go to brunch, you bring the brunch.

That’s right, we told you The Babes could cook and we’re not afraid to prove it. So we got crackin’…eggs, 72 eggs to be exact.

How do you make brunch for 25 hungover 20 somethings?

  • Four 18 pack cartons of eggs
  • 4 packages of bacon
  • two bags of hashbrowns
  • 1 package of breakfast sausages
  • 24 oz of mozzarella cheese
  • 5 avocados
  • tortillas
  • salsa
  • a jar of green chili

Whip all that together and you’ve got some mean breakfast tacos and some very grateful friends.

Pop the champagne boys that’s a wrap! Now it’s time to get weird.

Everyone knows that brunch is just the beginning to a wonderful day, so after brunch we all took a walk down to the golf course.

Have you ever played What Are The Odds? The concept of the game is you ask a friend what the odds are that they will do something (what are the odds you jump in the pond?), they choose a number (1 in 100), and on the count of three you both say a number in that range. If you both say the same number then they have to do the thing.

Last time we were at this house our friend lost from the range of 1-100 and had to jump in the pond. So you bet we were going to try for round two…because really what are the odds of that happening twice? Apparently, the odds are pretty good…sorry Jonathan.

Hahaha. The odds are good and the goods are odd.
